For the temporary storage of hazardous substances, KOK Environmental Storage Systems builds cross-docking containers in accordance with PGS 15. Functionally, a horse stall is a shelving container without doors and without a roof. Previously, the “cross-docking” container was referred to as a “horse stall”.
A characteristic feature of cross-docking container dimensions is the free height of at least 50 cm above the packaging and the side walls that extend 50 cm beyond the packaging.
Cross-docking containers are custom-built for all common pallet and IBC sizes. If the desired dimensions are too large for transport, the cross-docking container is built in sections and then assembled on-site.
The platforms can be fitted with steel grid floors, so that non-standard packaging can also be placed.

Cross-docking containers are fitted with spill containment trays. The contents are determined by the volume stored in the container. Depending on the substances being stored, spill containment trays are available in Zincor, powder-coated steel, stainless steel, or high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
