Through the mediation of BMD Advies, KOK Milieuopslagsystemen has been commissioned to build a fire-resistant storage container for a chemicals company in the Rotterdam port area. This is a K40 Chemie Fireguard that is suitable for the storage of chemical pallets with a height of 1.45 meters. The container is insulated, has a minimum fire resistance of 60 minutes and is suitable for outdoor storage within the PGS 15 guidelines. The storage container has space for up to 12 chemical pallets and has drainage tanks with a capacity of 1,100 liters, so that IBCs can also be placed in the container.
