KOK Environmental Storage Systems has supplied a heat chamber to Jiffy Group for a project in the United States. Often the storage containers we design and build are large, but for this project we started with an on-American small-sized storage system.
Because the small ‘hotroom’ has to fit in a sea container for the long journey to America, it consists of two parts. Upon arrival in the States, the loose compartments can easily be stacked with a forklift. On the lower floor of the container, a pump skid has been installed, and on the upper floor there is space for two IBCs. Through the use of a stove with UL approval, the interior temperature is kept constant at 30°C. Additionally, the use of 80 millimeter stone wool sandwich panels ensures the fire safety.
