The storage of organic peroxides (ADR 5.2) is regulated in PGS 8. This guideline has been drawn up from a risk-based approach. To determine how organic peroxides may be stored, more is needed than just establishing the specifications of the storage system.
The PGS 8 also includes guidelines relating to the location of storage and additional safety provisions. It is therefore important to follow the PGS 8 methodology and to correctly determine how, where, and with what measures peroxides may be stored.
Some organic peroxides may be stored to a limited extent in accordance with PGS 15.
